Modern Wedge with Kathy Doughty of Material Obsession

The Baltimore MQG is hosting Kathy Doughty of Material Obsession for a workshop.
All Day Workshop 10-4:30 Saturday, July 8, 2017, includes half hour for lunch. Bring your own lunch.

All you will need is a wedge ruler, a stack of fabrics that inspire you to action and a desire to do your own thing! In this class we will consider color and fabric designs with a view to expand your comfort zone. And then we will start cutting! Our goal will be a simple shape and sewing technique to create interesting and dynamic combinations. You can use a pattern from any of her books: Mixing Quilt Elements, Adding Layers or Making Quilts or design your own quilt using techniques discussed in class.

REFUND POLICY: Refunds will be given only if we can fill your spot with another person.

This workshop utilizes the 10, 18 or 22.5 degree wedge rulers (you pick the size wedge).
